Management, the Engine of Success!

In today's professional world, no institution can survive without "management." Management is not just rules and regulations on paper; it is the art of utilizing resources to achieve goals. If we imagine an organization or company as a body, management becomes the "brain" that commands the members and creates coordination among them.

Management is both a science and an art. It is a science because it relies on theories, numbers, and data. It is an art because it requires personal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle human differences. The best manager is the one who can maintain a balance between "following rules" and "human flexibility."

In the era of rapid changes and technology, management has taken a new form. Now, we talk about "Smart Management," where technology and data are used to reduce costs and increase productivity.

Successful institutions are those that have a management system capable of withstanding crises and adapting quickly to new circumstances.

Management is one of the main pillars of any organization, where the success rate depends on the level, skill, experience, and individual ability of the manager. Every project, whether small or large, makes management the dividing line between "success" and "failure." If we do not possess a wise administrative mindset, we will get lost in chaos and disorder and eventually collapse.

Schools and educational complexes, like any other organization or company, need good management because they are no longer just places for lecturing; they are complex institutions that require wise management. However, what distinguishes school and educational complex management from all other corporate managements is the term "Educational Administration."

Educational Administration (Educational Administration) is the engine that moves the body of education. If the teacher is the heart of the process, then management is the "brain" and the coordinator of all other parts of the institution.

Many people think that "Educational Administration" is only about punishment, issuing orders, and signing documents. But in reality, educational administration is the art of dealing with "humans." A successful manager is someone who can create an educational and learning environment where teachers innovate with loyalty and students learn peacefully and without fear.

A successful manager of a company does not necessarily make a successful manager in an educational center because "Educational Administration" has characteristics that are completely different from corporate and non-educational management.

Educational administration refers to the management and organization of educational centers and systems, encompassing the management of teachers, staff, finances, students, curricula, and all educational services to achieve educational and learning goals and create a fully educational environment.

In short, if "education" consists of the teacher and the student, then "management" is the engine that makes this process run smoothly and without problems.

To strengthen the impact of your management, you need a "continuous evaluation system." Good management is based on "data and numbers" rather than "words and assumptions."

It must also be said that educational administration requires someone who has full expertise in the principles of education, educational philosophies, and the goals for which education was established. Furthermore, they must have full knowledge of the education system, modern teaching techniques, and the psychology of children and adolescents.

One of the strengths of successful management in private educational centers (the private sector) is the manager's ability to balance four important axes:

  1. Educational Quality: A comprehensive concept representing the degree of success of an institution in achieving educational goals.

  2. Scientific Quality: It is not limited to students getting high grades; it includes the "knowledge and skills" provided to the student, as well as the curriculum and teaching students using the latest techniques and methods.

  3. Staff Development: In educational centers, it is not just conducting seminars and training sessions; it is a continuous process to enhance the ability of teachers and staff so they can adapt to modern changes and strategic educational goals.

  4. Financial Stability: The wise management of income and expenses, because without a strong financial infrastructure, the educational and learning process will be paralyzed.

Only by maintaining the balance between these four axes can we build a stable and successful institution to raise a generation of value, high ethics, and knowledge-seekers.

I find it necessary to briefly mention the basic pillars of institution and company management, which are used similarly in educational administration, together forming an integrated chain:

  1. Planning: Predicting the future and setting goals. Without a plan, institutions are like a ship without a compass.

  2. Organizing: Distributing tasks and determining responsibilities. Here it is clarified who does what and when.

  3. Leading: This is the human side; motivating staff and creating a work environment where everyone feels their importance.

  4. Controlling: Following up, monitoring, and measuring results and comparing them with plans. Here, errors and shortcomings are identified and resolved.

All four pillars above in education are tied to a specific time. Every task or duty must be performed at its designated time, without delay or defect. A task that must be done in October can never be postponed to December or January because educational tasks are time-sensitive; their neglect or delay can never be compensated for.

Past experience has taught us that classic management is no longer enough. Today, we need "Smart Management"—a system that can quickly shift from classroom learning to online learning during crises and maintain a permanent and transparent relationship with parents.

The success of any educational institution depends on the level of the "management system" it follows. When parents see that your school or complex has a "system" and everything goes according to plan (for example, having contingency plans like online learning or recorded lessons), they will have full trust in your institution and become your best advertisers. The greatest strength of marketing is when parents advertise for you.
