From its inception, the Gasha Foundation—founded by several individuals under the supervision of Engineer Shakhawan Talat—carried this message. The idea germinated in the minds of a few young people to establish a modern educational and learning center to serve students and provide a unique service.
Gasha was not merely about opening an educational branch or filling a gap in the field of schooling. Instead, it entered the arena of education and learning as a scientific and educational center, recognizing the necessity of this stage for an institution that prioritizes individual education, individual security, and the importance of science. It took on this educational responsibility to become one of the most important centers in the field of education and learning in the Kurdistan Region.
When looking at the history of its establishment, its stages, and its work, this goal is clearly reflected in the activities of the Gasha Foundation. Besides striving to be a leading scientific and educational center, its actual results have now become evident, showing how important and necessary Gasha’s presence has been and what a significant impact it has left on the process of education and learning in the Kurdistan Region.
Furthermore, the Gasha Foundation annually prepares special plans and programs through experts in the fields of education, teaching, and research, presenting them to learners in its educational centers. This has been put into practice as the foundation’s core principle, relying on the latest educational systems and ethics that foster a healthy individual within society and learning environments. All these efforts are reflected in the daily behavior and conduct of the student, which is the desire and demand of parents; everyone seeks a safe place and a suitable educational environment for their children.
Therefore, the existence of Gasha with all its centers at this stage was an inevitable necessity for the new generation in the era of technology and progress. Through special programs, systems, and various activities, the educational aspect is developed in parallel with the scientific aspect, ensuring it is not left behind and proceeds as a gentle, natural process. The issue of education has become a strategy for the Gasha Foundation. To this end, a special and important department called the "Educational Development Department" has been established within the foundation’s main structure, managed by an expert and experienced staff, with special plans and programs designed to make educational development the roadmap for Gasha’s work.
